About the Owner

 

 

Ingrid Helton is currently the Costume Director for the San Diego Opera. She has been a professional costume maker & Costume Designer for 40 years. She has worked for the San Diego Opera, The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse and the San Diego Repertory Theatre, to name a few. Ingrid has been a Shop Manager, Designer, Tailor and Draper. Her costumes have been seen on Broadway, in regional theatres and in opera houses throughout the United States.

 

To support ongoing efforts in protecting essential workers during Covid-19, Ingrid and a team of nine theatre artisans have turned to making masks to donate to Salud Para La Gentea free clinic in Watsonville, CA that primarily offers healthcare to farmworkers living and working on California’s Central Coast.

In addition, Ingrid is selling handmade Cotton Face Masks and has started production of Transparent Lip Reading Masks.
